Granholm Appoints Debbrecht Judge of 51st District Court

Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today announced the appointment of Jodine "Jodi" Debbrecht as judge of the 51st District Court for a term expiring January 1, 2013. She replaces Judge Phyllis McMillen who was appointed to the 6th Circuit Court (Oakland County).
Debbrecht, of Waterford, most recently served as magistrate/court administrator for the 45A District Court. Previously, she served as an assistant prosecutor for Macomb County. Her civic activities include spearheading Lids for Kids, a group that collects and distributes bicycle helmets for children.
Debbrecht earned her law degree and bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri.
